LRGB M42 (half-baked)

I've been trying now for a while to get a few minutes of colour data for the other half of this, but it's not happening, so here it is as it stands.  I do have shorter data for the core but it's a hell of task doing this in LRGB.  Maybe when I get more data I'll spend a day at it.

LRGB of M42, consisting of two panels

Left panel LRGB = 84/10/10/10 minutes

Right panel L = 84 minutes

Total time = 3 hours 18 minutes

Even APP struggled with this, ended up combining in ICE, and then back to PS.

Not the best out there, but it's always nice to get a bit of brown dust in the background.

All the best

Adam.

Gotta be a good advert for OSC

You are not kidding!
it has been something I have been seriously considering this year!

Having said that I like the comparison, and look forward to its completion,  (hopefully this year?!) I understand your frustration!

thanks for sharing

Different that is for sure, I rather like it. Did this last night but the result was poor, I don't know if it is the spacing still not exact with the Borg or just awful guiding, the weather was 21c yesterday and it dropped away very quickly once dark.
