Advice on EQ6+ED100+DSLR offer

Hi guys,

So I've got an offer that includes:

Skywatcher EQ6 Pro + Skywatcher Evostar ED100 APO + 700D astro modified DSLR for around £1000. All bought around 5y ago. The thing is I imagine it is a very good offer, but can't make up my mind because all I was searching for was a modified DSLR! I do have a car to move around, so carrying an EQ6 mount wouldn't be that much of a problem.

What are your thoughts?

What do you currently have? If I could afford it, I could be tempted, but I already have an EQ6 mount and camera

I own a non modified Canon DSLR, a Skyguider Pro and a Zenithstar61 APO. The thing is I am getting slowly into the autoguiding realm, and even though I don't mind staying "manual" for a while, or not having DEC guiding available, I know I'll need a proper mount at some point. I was planning to get a EQ5 in the near future, but this winter has been horrible, so...

I would say go for more than an EQ5, nothing wrong with them, but the EQ6 pro would be so much better

That's a great deal,assuming all in good condition. I'd snatch their hand off whether or not I actually needed any of the items!

Buy the package, sell the scope - job done. 
 

You can never have too much mount assuming it is portable enough for the application you have in mind.
