S@N Image of the Month

Recommended Posts

Well and truly blowing my own trumpet here, BBC Sky at Night magazine made one of my lunar images their image if the month for Feb 20! I'm dead chuffed as I've never ever been in print before, not even in the local rag!

The image I submitted is this 6 pane mosaic of the waning gibbous that I captured back in Sep.

Thanks for looking

Great image.  Thanks for posting here as I wanted to see it at higher resolution and quality than the mag!

Worthy winner as I see it, stunning image, and I don't like the Moon that much.

That's a good'un. I can smell the cheese from here. :p

I didn't realise Virgin Galactic had started flying the public! They must have gotten lost and strayed very close to that thing! :)

Well done. You should be very proud of that mosaic. Its amazing.

That must be one of the clearest images I have seen, excellent work and well deserved recognition.

Brilliant, I saw this in the magazine actually! I always wonder if any of the featured images were published by members here so great to have it confirmed.

Thanks for the kind words all!  My mum has bought the mag and has texted me to say how proud she is! 😂
