How much does a light pollution filter upset this target? I was going to image this, but am thinking about waiting until I can get to a dark sky.

Its certainly easier from a dark sky...  I'm in Bortle 4/5, no LP filter , I only image luminance when the target is near its highest..  and I needed a lot of data to bring out  the tidal tail

A further re-process during the time of cloud...  more colour (maybe too much for some) giving colour in some of the small galaxies and more detail in the core revealed by using a synthetic luminance..
