Sky-Watcher AZ-EQ6 Pro slewing noise?

Evening everyone...

Is this noise normal?

At the very start and end of the slewing, there is an unpleasant noise. The videos I checked online sound probably the same, so in all probability its normal? Is it the gears/belts getting engaged/disengaged?

Sounds like the usual “death rattle” I have on my NEQ6PRO.

The gears/ belts don’t disconnect, just the stepper motors interacting with the gear train.

You get used to it after a while........

Mine sounds like this though it is a while since it has been used, so maybe it will not move at all now.
