COMPLETED - Atik 428EX Mono CCD (Price includes UK P&P)

Recommended Posts

Price: £850

Excellent condition, comes with all original unused cabling, packaging and accessories.

The camera has been used for around 2 years and have never given any problems whatsoever, not even a single connection drop! This was my first astronomy camera and I am very happy with choosing CCD over CMOS, so much so that I will be sticking with it.

The only reason for change was to move to the 460 as it is better suited to the field of view of my telescope, it’s basically the same camera as the 428. The library files for this camera have the same mean value for bias files as 900sec darks, indicating that dark files are not necessary due to incredibly low noise.
