NGC 1499 HSS

With the poor weather we have had I had to do a bit of a cobble to get this image. I had a good session to get the Ha but trying to get the Sii has been a mare! I was going to do a SHO version but at the rate of progress I had for this image I think that the target will be out of site before I get chance to image again.

SW 72Ed used with my ASI 1600mm.

Ha 80 x 240

Sii 35 (poor) x 240 

Comments tips and hints most welcome.

Thank you, would like to add another 40 more Sii subs and then poss some Oiii but cant seeing it happen this January or Febuary! lol

I am no expert but I think normally the SII is strong for this target so if you do get a chance then maybe concentrate on this ??

Nice result. I would not bother with Oiii l could not find any data and like you did  HSS.

Thank you, will try and top up the Sii then and start looking for a new target, weather permitting!
