M81 with the C8.

Two images of old favourite M81 using the C8 and Starlight Xpress H9-C at f 5.7.  The first is full spectrum, the second uses the Altair quadband filter. Both have a total integration time of 100 mins.

And my attempt to combine both images.

Really nice !!  Like the middle one best. The starburst regions in the right most arm really stand out.

@smerral I've been searching a lot for exactly this ! Thanks!!

Well - i guess the first one carries the most colour information at the expense of having more noise. The second one has much better defined structures and less noise, but also less colour information. I do like the combination of the two best. Thanks again!
