Messier 45 - Pleiades

This Christmas I acquired an OVL field flattener for my Skywatcher Evostar 72ED and I was lucky to try it out at my grandma and grandpa's bortle 4 skies. The target was messier 45 since I knew it wouldn't be clear for enough time for me to image the orion nebula(which I hopefully will tomorrow). I ended up with 37X90 sec subs on my star adventurer with my Nikon D3300. And for the first time I took 30 flat frames which I actually think helped a little(haven't compared though). Although comparing to my 60X60sec pleiades taken at home(bortle 7-8) the difference is dramatic!

Feedback is appreciated!

Very nice, well done! Lots more stars and an appreciable amount of nebulosity in your latest image.

You'll have to visit Grandma and Grandpa more often! 😀

I wish I had the time to but the 2 hour drive (and my age of 17) is limiting how often I can visit then but when I can I will;)

I tried creating a false luminans layer in photoshop for the first time and I'm actually really impressed with the result! I've always edited my photos in lightroom but I think I will begin to consider using photoshop a little more. The image now reveals a little IFN but also noise so I hope to get some more exposures tonight before M42 rises.
