C/2017 T2 Panstarrs

The 17th of December was my first opportunity to catch this comet,  the image = 14x3min subs @ 1600iso stacked (comet & stars) in DSS.

Equip:- TS Photoline 130 refractor, Canon 60Da

Another image from the 17th, this was taken with a 60mm refractor so a wide image that includes a couple of NGCs as well.

I think it may tickle the outsides of the double cluster in  Perseus  sometime in January.... when it might be a tad brighter.

I like  astro-images with more than one type of object in it.

You're right, for few nights around the 25th of Jan it should be very close and also predicted to be a magnitude higher, will make for a good photo opportunity, clouds willing 🤞
