Nigella Bryant

Made the front cover of the December BAA journal

Recommended Posts

Hi all, one of my Mercury transit image's has made both the British Astronomical Association's December journal and the Mercury and Venus section news letter. Really chuffed, never made print before,  lol.

Thanks everyone, really appreciate all your comments. Although we don't do this hobby for praise, it's nice to get recognition for all the hour's we put into amateur astronomy.

Well done Nigella.  A fabulous image, and if it really is your first published photo - that's pretty good going to make it with a full colour spread on the front of a journal!  Well deserved. 👍  :hello2:

Just had an email from the BAA, as I'm a digital member they're sending me two hard copies of the December journal,  that's made my day even more wonderful.

Hello Nigella,

just to let you know that your excellent image was shown during the Sky Notes talk at today’s BAA meeting at the Institute of Physics in London.

Awwwww, that's lovely, I'll have to watch it on YouTube. Got an email regarding the BAA Christmas meeting lecture but haven't had time to watch it yet. Thanks Jeremy for the heads up. Didn't expect to be mentioned during that. Nice though. Will be watching it tomorrow.
