Storing dob outside

How does everyone get round moisture on the primary mirror when storing the scope outside?

A snug-fitting tube cap helps. Also it might help to store the tube horizontally rather than upright. I store mine in a garage (at very near outdoor temperature) and have had moisture problems, but I think this has been from misting occuring while the scope was outside or being transported - I'm apt to be lazy about putting it away at 4 in the morning, when really I should be de-steaming optics.

Maybe a cover for the primary.

My 16" LB camme with a dustbin like lid to cover it.

Very snug fit.

I have mine in a shed, well covered storing horizontal i had not thought about that seems a good idea though.
