What did 7Wells Observatory cost to build?

 My 7 Wells Observatory build has more or less finished.

I thought that the costs  would be interesting to anyone thinking of building their own obsy, so I have listed all the costs incurred to date.

The headline number is £4000 to deliver this build. That is purely for the observatory and ignores the fact that I was upgrading the equipment at the same time.

Of that £1000 was getting power and data to the site as it was a long run and involved two sets of tradesmen. Not everyone will have the same problem.

I don't guarantee its absolute accuracy (I seemed to have been buying boxes of screws every other day!), but it is ball park for my build.

Of course I don't yet know what the costs of fixing the mistakes I have made as we move into routine use (clouds permitting) and worse weather. Look out for updates.

Thanks for sharing this, costs always help others in negotiations.
Sounds a reasonable cost for what you have built.
