I wasn't able to attend the show myself as I had an operation at the end of October and probably won't be able to drive until well into January.  I would  be grateful is people who went could post some pictures they took.  Anything that shows what gear was on show - and being selfish, anything particularly regarding  refractors :laugh2:  👍.

Chris (Lockie) took hours of video which will appear sooner of later.

diffficult to judge numbers as the venue was very much smaller so seemed more crowded. Certainly after three on both days there were very few people there and Friday I don't think was so well attended, perhaps because of the weather and roads.

Saturdays are always busier than Fridays. I can speak only from FLO's POV (from the corner of the main hall). We were pleased with the attendance. The other exhibitors I spoke with appeared happy too. I think the organisers were also pleased. There was definitely a positive buzz about the place during both days and the visitors I asked said they were enjoying the event. I hear the lectures were also well attended. We will definitely book a stall next year.

I attended the show on Friday. As requested, a selection of images, mostly Refractors.... Enjoy!

"Brilliant Chaxastro, just the sort of pics I would have wished to take if I had been there."

Your welcome, paulastro. Glad you liked them. Tried not to duplicate anything that has already been posted so far. Shame you could not get there this time, maybe next year. I'm looking to make it three in a row!

I met the person who the car was left to in his will.  She was one of his friends and a carer, and also an amateur astronomer and was a member on PAIG forum which was how I met her.  She was most surprised and touched that he left his car to her.  So I presume she must have sold it on.

And of course it has another astronomical connection, being a Ford Prefect, after which one of the characters in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy was named.
