Despite the weathers best efforts, a Mercury transit image

Recommended Posts

The clouds gave me no chance of seeing 1st contact, but they did clear at times quite nicely. Wind and clouds played havoc with imaging, at least the rain held off!

Really pleased to see/image anything to be honest.

Lunt 50mm, DMK21au618, stacked the best 10% of 1500 frames.

Hi Pete

Same here, first contact was clouded out but I did get to see about 30-40 mins of the transit :)

Great pic.

Cheers

Ian
