Hiya, just want to see what people think of this little camera to use as a guide camera in an off axis guider ? Is it any good ? Any bad points ? Won’t be using this as an image camera - solely as a guide camera

these cameras work very well as a guide camera. The only weakness is the micro USB connector. If  the cable gets pulled slightly it can disconnect and if you lift the scope off the mount and forget to pull the USB the cable will fail at the plug (found from experience!). I loop the cable back on itself and retain with a reusable tie. Minor issue really though

Hi. I'm using its clone, the t7m on an oag at 1200mm. No problems, even in spring with galaxies.

I got the ASI 120 mono mini as a replacement for a QHY5Lii whose USB port failed.

It's excellent, never fails to provide stars through my Canon OAG.  Did have a small issue with PHD2 disconnecting when operating in 16 bit mode but in 8 bit mode it's rock solid

almcl mentions about 8 bit and 16bit. I have two ASI220, one is rock solid at 16 bit and the other has the problem but for guiding its not an issue

Hi

There is a firmware patch which may help. The patch also provides usb3 compatibility. You'll need a Linux box.
