Sun ISS transit here tomorrow

Dave, what software are you using?

I don't currently do Solar but with the transit of Mercury looming large in the calendar I'm thinking about getting a full aperture solar filter for my cute little 127 Mak. ISS transits would be a nice distraction until the Sun reawakens... if it ever does!

Unfortunately I'm on a 12 hour day shift on the day of Mercury's foray across the Sun but I think the little Mak is ideal for sneaking a peek :)

The transit info software is https://transit-finder.com/

I use an assortment of solar stuff, Lunt LS60DS with ASI178M.

152MM frac' with Quark and PG BFly camera

10"SCT with solar film filter for white light.

Capturing using Firecapture on Windows or OACapture on Mac.

Clouded out here at the vital moment, cleared a bit now it's too late.

Well Dave you didn't miss much, with the sun so low in the southwest the ISS appeared really small.

I need a bigger scope, blink and you'll miss it 🤨

Untitled.avi

Excellent capture Den, you can muck about with it in software and slow it down a bit and also combine all the frames into one image.
