Do you have an AAG Cloudwatcher or similar?

Had one of these for a couple of days and I think this is the first piece of astro equipment I can use when it is cloudy and raining!

I notice the app has a record function whereby it can write the data to a csv which could then be analysed. Has anyone ever done this as a way of measuring the number of clear hours we get per week/month etc? This seems like it could be very useful information???

Interesting idea - though I fear the results for UK locations would be very depressing!

I use the record function, but it has been to debug weird shut down events in the past.
