Different FOV processing ?

I am sure that somewhere here has been discussed before but I would like to ask since I am going to try for the first time to combine 2 stacking results from 2 different cameras :

Which photo do you usually register to the other...the smaller fov into the wider or the opposite ?

.....so to make my question more clearer i am attaching 2 photos (jpeg due to size limits) as an example of what i am trying to do with APP or PI....

I would like to place the smaller one to the wider one....or should i try to do the opposite ? is it possible ????

The wider photo comes from ATIK 383 and the narrower comes from SX TRIUS PRO 674C
