Skywatcher AZ-EQ5 Mount & EQ6 Tripod

Really like the mount and have been impressed with it but find I’d rather use a manual Alt-Az mount and want to buy the new AZ100 Alt-Az mount when it comes out.

S O L D

  • Shipping at cost which will probably be about £35.00 to £40.00 (insurance is very expensive now)
  • Purchased from FLO in Aug 2018 and hasn’t been used many times and in perfect condition. Always stored indoors.

Has been upgraded with an EQ6 tripod with 2” legs and a Berlebach spreader conversion and. Geoptik EQ6 to EQ5 adapter at a total cost of about £280.00. Standard spreader and bolt included. Lynx power cable included.

In EQ mode the mount can support 15kg of equipment or two 15kg loads in AZ mode.Sky-Watcher dual-encoder 'FreedomFind' technology allows the telescope to be moved manually in either axis without the mount losing its positional information.
