A M81 from 2.5 year old data

Recommended Posts

I always love a M81 - my favourite galaxy. The data here is from March 2017 and is 50 mins each of LRGB all binned 1x1.  Data is from TEC 140 (before I bought the field flattener) and the Atik 460.  My rotation between nights was not right so I have had to crop very aggressively.

It could use more data since the spiral arms are a bit wishy washy but I hope you like it.  Can just see Holmberg galaxy at 4 o clock position.

I may have a further play about with this since it needs to "sing" a bit more I think.  I have 1.5 hours of Ha as well and need to blend this in.  Will repost when I have done so.
