Watched the first minute or two then we had a power cut which lasted until after midnight!!  Bummer!!  Oh well, it's repeated or I could watch it on iPlayer.  Was it good?

I was going to post just as the power went off :-  "Funnily immediately after the title tune I still expect to hear the dulcet tones of Sir Patrick Moore 'Good evening...' Bless him!"

Yes, pretty good, with a piece on how us amateurs can help in finding exoplanets by sifting through the data looking for patterns.

Thanks for the heads up.

I've just watched in BBC I player the "the moon" episode where Patrick talks about what the moons surface might be made of before anyone had landed, and then another old episode that showed the first close up mariner photos of the surface of Mars where it was discovered that Mars had craters.

Awesome stuff.
