Nice clear night tonight but the temperature dropped rapidly cutting my session early due to the scopes icing up.

1 hr 20 mins in 5 min subs taken on my Flt98 /Sxvf H9 reduced by 6.3 , guided on the Ed80 / Qhy5

I like it, Steve! :thumbright: There's a wonderful 3-D depth in the roundness of M43 and in the folds of M42's trailing tendrils. And although imagers strive for sharpness, I actually prefer the softness seen here. It looks blended and a bit smoky.. exactly what I imagine a nebulosity would look like in person. Nicely done. :)
