I have a goto and love it, but I have never used a Dob.

Might do one day though.

I love my 8" Cat on GoTo, I love my Dob 'cos it's so easy to swing about the sky while grabbing lots of light, and I love my fracs on altaz - also very easy, but not as good as the Dob for high altitudes.

Basically, I love 'em all!
