The small 'scope is called a finder scope.

Under where you write your post is a paperclip and Click to choose files. Click on this and then select your picture files and okay and they will upload. Then put the curser where you want the picture to appear and click the little '+' sign on the thumbnail, which I think is in the top left corner, to place it into your post.

A price is required as per the code of conduct rules, would you put them in please.

Hi @Emsy80 ,

Welcome to SGL 🙂   As a rule of thumb, the secondhand rate for items in good condition is about 2/3 new price.  If you want to sell a bit quicker then obviously a little lower helps 🙂

Good luck with the sale

Helen

Emsy80,

Just like to say sorry as my message reads a little on the blunt side, which was not intended at all, I was just off to the hospital and not thinking, good luck with the sale.

I'm tempted to go down the route of getting myself a brand new reflector...  My friend's old Meade 114/900 is a good telescope, but I want something of my own and with a bit more light gathering power.  To this end, I've been looking at a couple of different models and manufactures.

I must admit, the Skywatcher Explorer 130M floats my boat, as it's motorised with a speed controller.
      Any thoughts or observations?🤔

      Doesn't sound too positive. 🤔

So I have an ETX 70 but I would much rather not use batteries, would prefer just connecting straight to the wall. Was wondering how I would go about that, there doesn't seem to be anything now-a-days because of its age. Thanks for any help

Hi All, I'm fairly new to stargazing and was looking for some help with my telescope. I've been happy with my Meade ETX 90 RA for a while until it stopped focusing. I've traced the problem to a broken plastic cog on the motor. Back in the day I would have popped into Maplin to get myself sorted but I don't have a clue where to get telescope parts. I live in West Yorkshire and it looks like the Green Witch in Birstall is closed down. Would anyone be able to provide some suggestions?  Many thanks in advance!
