NGC281

Hi a popular target in Cassiopia,high in the sky,and away from the moon.

Imaged a couple of nights ago with my dual rig.

I imaged this as a Ha/RGB image,but soon realised their was hardly any green/blue in the image.

I only managed to shoot 18x600 secs subs in Ha and 6x600 secs in RGB before cloud ended my session.

Perhaps if I could have got a lot more in G/B I could have pulled more out,as it would have been less affected by noise.

I added the Ha to the red channel but reduced the opacity to around 20%.

I have kept the image with colour toned down,which I personally like.NGC281.png.6eccd11b6612fc7fbeb4f622436065d1.png

All in all a mainly Ha image.
