This is composed of a single 30s exposure unguided through each filter (RGB) to make a color image. The noise in this image was very difficult to deal with... but that's what happens when you don't stackšŸ™ƒĀ For processing I did lots of noise reduction using TGV denoise, MML, and ADCNR in Pixinsight, stretch image, and curves transformation.Ā

That'sĀ what I thought also. I'll have to do some observing when m31 is a bit higher.

I wouldn't be able to have a RGB image though... the individualĀ channels are singe 30s. Also, the images aren't stacked, just color combined.
