Trevor N
Seems to be popular to image this one at present. Here's a shot from Norfolk. I've always found it a difficult balance with natural background light and the nebulosity around the stars. steppenwolf
Very nice image - good to see it in its 'natural' surroundings.

barkis
It is an excellent picture Trevor. I think you have the balance just about perfect. There is the right amount of nebulosity, with a touch of the brown stuff. Also, the whole beauty of the Pleiades is dependent on it's place against the starfield in which it resides. You got that exactly right IMHO. Lovely job. :salute: Ron.
Trevor N
Many thanks for the comments. I try to get the "natural" look if at all possible but it seems a fine line between pushing an image and overdoing it. It's great to get comments from like minded souls. Psychobilly
I'm grabbing another 2 hours of subs for my attempt at M45 at the moment checked the focus and remebered to remove the mask this time ... I had some dirt marcks which meant I couldnt keep the background as light as I intended as I prefer the look taht you have rather than the jet black skies...although others prefer them taht way...Billy...
