Hi everyone

Wanted: blue reflection. Got: rubbish.

This is nearly 2 hours! What do we need to do? All advice most gratefully recieved.

What are the capture details?

Length of exposures, camera used and type with/without filters and scope etc etc.

Recently did this target with a camera lens from Spain.

Just stretched your image and it looks like a load of cloud up there.   I agree with you it is weird, because if it is cloud it hasn't affected the stars.

The answer to my last question might help explained things.

400. Although it doesn't seem to make much difference apart from adding noise at higher values. Maybe it should be higher anyway?

Worth a try. Your images of star clusters and galaxies are quite good. Do you often try for nebulosity? Maybe it just needs longer subs?

It normally works fine. Right afterwards we did this. In less time. It's just the blue we can't get. Dunno.

Will have a go at ISO800 tonight. Too hot to sleep anyway!
