ZWO colour camera

I am trying to use a ZWOASI224MC colour camera with Sharpcap2.1. It selects the RCG8 colour space as default but only shows a black and white image on my computer screen ! What am I doing wrong ?

Hi, I use Firecapure but should be similar ... it's to do with debayering, should be a setting choosing to debayer during preview.

Why are you using Sharpcap 2.1? I use Sharpcap 3.1 (which I assume is a later version) with this camera and I am not having a problem.

And yes, there probably is a setting to turn on on-screen debayering.

You are doing nothing wrong. The camera will display a monochrome image but the video file will contain the colour information and restore the colour to the image when processed. The camera does this to maintain a higher framerate than possible if it were to display a colour image.
