This was taken in march from @wimvb's wonderful dark skies. I didn't really have the time to process it until now.

It took few hours of work and to decide which direction I should take to process the very short stack of integration.  I found that processing in a completely dark room gives better results. (like film development one could say :)

L 33x300=2,35 hours (Shows what dark skies can do)

RGB & Ha 6x300=30 minuts each

4,35 hours in total.

I am parting with this great scope, the SkyWatcher 80 ED, only for the sake of upgrading to the dazzling path of Newtonian telescope and remote observatories. I found that my astro-passion actually circulates around galaxies and less around nebulae. And so a bigger scope is indeed what one needs. Nevertheless, wide-field imaging is really something on its own and should not be judge through aperture only.

Image below is JPEG I don't know how to insert TIFF into the post, which is in higher resolution.

CC is always welcome!

Tiff won't show anyway, because web readers can't handle it.

Wonderful image, especially with the short integration time.

If you can convert to PNG, that will upload, but the file size tends to be huge.

Very much appreciated. Thanks guys!

Very deep tidal structures!

Olly

Just shows what dark skies can offer. I was stunned when I saw the tidal structure in the first singel 5 minuts exposure.
