Orion IntelliScope Computerized Object Locator

I was thinking of getting the Orion IntelliScope Computerized Object Locator, for my Dob. Just wondered if anyones used one on here, if so, just wondered if, well, basically are they any good?....and can they be attached to any Dob base?

hi,

I use my intelliscope quite often when I am in light polluted areas. they are very easy to set up (just point it at two stars and press a couple buttons) and accurate. However, you must have an intelliscope compatible dob base to use it which you might be able to upgrade to.
