Is this noise normal

Recommended Posts

Hi,

This is 1300D, 60sec, ISO800, dark file. Sub zero temperature outside the camera when the exposure was taken. I don't really know to much about this yet as I'm a beginner. So i can't say if it's normal. But you can compare to the RAW file attached. It has far less noise at half the exposure.  If you have multiple captures,  use sigma stacking and stack them and see  if some of the random noise dissapears. Cosmic radiation or other sources will make random noise on the chip. I might be far out as I'm a beginner myself ;)
