this is usually known as the crescent nebula not the jellyfish. :)

OK, noted.. still looks like a jellyfish in an ocean to me... but no matter what I call it, I still cant image it due to a big sphere getting in between the nebula and my telescope. 😉

I agree MarsG76, now you come to mention it. It does look like a jellyfish :)  ( I think its called the crescent nebula due to only a crescent being visible in wide band light ). And I also agree, that globe does get in the way a tad too often. 

When all this rain goes and the skies clear next week...The globe will be there, reflecting that other day globe to show it is still there.
