Recommended Posts

One Takahashi FC-100DF f/7.4 APO Refractor OTA Package.

Customer Return

A superb telescope and a rare opportunity. Absolutely pristine!

Wasn't suitable for customer's requirements (decided his regular 80mm spotting scope would suffice).

Complete with original box/packaging and covered by full manufacturer's warranty.

£2,435.00 £2,189.00  (saving £246.00)

I have got a Leica spotting scope, but I would still love a Tak.

He owned a Zeiss spotting scope. I think the customer realised the Tak’ wasn’t what he was expecting as soon as he received it. It was returned to us almost immediately and there are no signs of it having been put on a mount.

Zeiss spotting scopes are rather good I actually had 4 of them in the house once, my wife use to sell them for a local hunting business, I was somewhat shocked by how many times their riflescopes had faults though.

It's a DC in the pic as Mark mentioned. It's the same optics as the DF, but the DF has a larger focuser with a somewhat longer draw tube better suited for imaging than the DC.

The one offered here at a reduced price is a DF with accessory package.

Sorry about the product photo. Currently we are displaying only the basic manufacturer one-size-fits-all stock photo but, now we have one a DF that has been opened, we will make our own photos and update our product page soon.

Hi Steve,

Due to many many reasons I’ve not been able to do much astronomy recently but I’ve just bought this amazing scope and looking forward to next season. Always wanted a Takahashi!!

Don’t be too long taking pictures.....

I have already made the photos so you will see them appear at our website soon.

The telescope will be dispatched to you when we reopen Monday for delivery Tuesday. It is a wonderful instrument. You will be impressed 🙂

Thanks Steve,

Should go well with my recently purchased Berlebach Uni-18 tripod and AOKswiss mount, not a bad mix of quality kit I think.
