Welcome from Australia

How your skies over there

12 months ago was touring northern India, New Delia, Agra, Jaipur, Rishikesh, Varanasi, Amritsar, Mumbai, and the skies were very hazy during the day, and hardly see the sun

When in Jaipur visited the Jantra Mantra

What an amazing astronomical place

Hi, and a warm welcome to SGL. If you are into Astronomy, then you are not just a simple girl.ย
You will learn much from these forums, and the members here are very helpful, and very knowledgeableย
in all the sciences that encompass Astronomy. We look forward to reading your posts, and learning much aboutย
the area where you live.ย  You may well be the only Bangladesh member here, but I am not certain about that.
Enjoy your stay here, and keep us informed of your progress, and don't forget to ask questions If you need to,they love to provide answers hereย ๐Ÿ™‚.
Best Wishes.
Ron.

Another welcome from a German stargazer; enjoy your stay in this friendly forum.

My family supported a girl, Shanta, in the Gazipur region of Bangladesh for several yearsย  (via World Vision); so some basic knowledge about your country (never visited it) exists.

Where in Bangladesh do you live, and do you have access to dark skies, and to binoculars or a telescope?

Here's a link for a star/planetarium program (it's free!), to play with during the monsoon period:

Have fun, and keep asking and reporting!
