Being a deep sky visual type of astronomer I love the 1st and 2nd place images.  I also bought a Nodal Ninja after seeing the panorama!

Thank you to all involved.

Wow, those are all really nice.  jewel-like DSOs and The eclipse video is great, even the plane trails!

The only way could have entered was to drink my Christmas beer and then start imaging - not a way to be competitive...

Just give a heads up in November - I'm sure FLO will appreciate a flurry of extra Christmas purchases.

Oh my word. I never expected this.

Thank you so much, to everyone involved.

I have a very exciting sailing campaign going on now, so spirits are high. On top of that this really has made my day, no my month :)

Cheers

Nigel.

Well done all. Beautiful images. I especially liked the time lapse! Those aircraft were like rockets/streamers shooting through a gorgous night sky! Amazing!

oooohhhh haha see! Told you i'm a newbie without a clue! haha Thank you for letting me know. It never crossed my mind that there's likely dozens of globular clusters, and here's me assuming there's only one, and it's name is M13! Doh! haha

Estimated at around 150+ not including undiscovered ones, in our galaxy. Plus those in other galaxies, some of which we can image.

We are all newbie's at some point, you have to learn from somewhere :)  I have never seen a global cluster on tv and only new they existed when I started astronomy 3 years ago.
