Dear all,

today we had a lots of clouds and a pretty heavy shower in the early evening. After that the sky became clear for roundabout one hour. I could have sketched the H alpha sun but this time I decided to go for a sketch of the pale moon before sunset here.

Amazing sketch. Looks so real. I aspire to sketch at your level....I’m just starting out  on the sketching and I’m keen to where does one learn to draw the moon like this?

Hi Steve,

thanks for your kind words!

Regarding your question: One learns it simply by starting and doing it - I am sketching lunar targets now for five years. So it evolves over time...

Just do it ;)
