I requested a meteor and got it!

Walked out to the car for my coffee thermos at 4:30 this morning. Another doctor appointment for SWMBO at 6am.

As I stand there, wondering silently to myself, why mornings I work or we have an appointment, the skies are always clear, I wish for a meteor.

Looking up at Jupiter which has a very distinct reddish tint, Scoripus to Jupiters right and Sagittarius to its left, I wish for a meteor.

I haven't seen a good one in ages it seems. Even my widefield imaging has been for naught.

Then a very beautiful meteor streaks just above Sagittarius leaving a greenish blue luminous streak in its wake

Made the morning much better.
