Wind, Rain, Hail, and the return of A/R2738

Recommended Posts

Fairly awful conditions, wind, rain, hail and the occasional patch of blue sky. I wouldn't normally have bothered, but for the reappearance of the old A/R2738, now A/R2740. A very hasty pack up when the conditions deteriorated quickly after just 2 short image captures!

The usual set up for white light, Evostar120mm, Dmk21au618, X2.5 Barlow, Continuum filter. The best 15% of 1,500 frames.

Serious dedication.  And a decent image, too.  I don't feel so bad about the weather here today now.  We had lots of sunshine combined with an icy-cold wind, but got away without the unpleasant precipitation.
