Spot the difference "only if you're bored"

Recommended Posts

OK, i'm gonna post 2 stacked images. anyone with better processing skills than me fancy having a look at these to compare. do the same processes to both and see if there is any difference in the quality of the image. these aren't quality images. i just need to know how they comapre, which is better/worse.

now its only an hour of 3 min subs stacked, no darks or flats. this is just testing an idea.

ok, these are the same stacked subs from my 760d. one set from the memory card, the other from the laptop. to my eye the laptop one shows more of the thin horizontal strips. just wondering if theres some interference thats causing it or its wishful thinking that i might find a cure.

Both should be identical. 20 subs stacked in DSS with the same settings. Only difference being one set are the ones recorded to the memory card the others are the duplicate on the laptop. If you really stretch the image there are 7 thin brownish lines across the image. It looked to me that they were less obvious in the memory card set but I could be wrong
