Would be about 12 foot long so will need a substantial mount.

Surely at F24 it's got to be approaching APO quality. I wouldn't even attempt to do the maths but I'm sure it's aroud that number.

You really aren't going to get anywhere near zenith with that!  All the pics show it pointing near to the horizon ?

I would think the CA even from a crown / flint achromat would be very, very well controlled at F/24. My 6 inch Istar did show noticable CA though so you have to go really long as the aperture increases.

I love long focus refractors an all, but that's just a step too far!...or should I say an f-stop too far (or 8 ) 

Still I admire that someone actually make this and mounted it on a cool car. Definitely no a beige decision.

No it wasn't me. Couldn't figure out how to get the tin opener engaged with the Volvo's roof.
