Surely at F24 it's got to be approaching APO quality. I wouldn't even attempt to do the maths but I'm sure it's aroud that number.

I would think the CA even from a crown / flint achromat would be very, very well controlled at F/24. My 6 inch Istar did show noticable CA though so you have to go really long as the aperture increases.

I love long focus refractors an all, but that's just a step too far!...or should I say an f-stop too far (or 8 ) 

Still I admire that someone actually make this and mounted it on a cool car. Definitely no a beige decision.
