ImPPG is well worth the effort to learn. Will make a hellava difference to your images. Just follow the tutorial until you get the hang of it.

Avoids rust thanks to the magical ImPGG overcoat..

It's odd because the image shows up in ImPGG with a very spotty appearance from massive over-sharpening.

Perhaps I should start from a clean image which has not been pushed through Wavelets in Registax?
