Space Oddities

A great Youtube channel for science & astronomy

Recommended Posts

I recently discovered this Youtube channel, by a guy named Professor Dave. He's a teacher of physics and chemistry in the US, and he makes these videos to explain various scientific topics. He has a playlist dedicated to astronomy, with rather short videos (5 to 20 min) explaining the universe, the solar system, astrophysics, as well as the history of astronomy.

I think this guy has a real talent for explaining complex notions in a simple way! For someone starting astrophotography, or people learning physics or simply interested by the cosmos, I would definitely recommend his videos.

Since black holes are the stars right now, here's one of his videos regarding this mysterious object!
