This is one of my unprocessed left over raw data from my 2017 Namibia trip. Preparing for my 2019 upcoming astrophotography trip I process this NGC4945 beautiful galaxy.

Photo details:
16 x 5Min Luminance in BIN1 = 80 Min
20Min for each RGB in BIN2 = 60Min
Total Expo: 2:20 Hours

Hardware used:
Telescope: ASA 12'' F3.6 Astrograph
Mount: ASA DDM85 Mount
Camera: FLI8300 with Astrodon filters

Thanks for watching,
Haim Hul

Lovely! A striking contrast with those two bright blue stars flanking the galaxy. They could be called "guardians of the galaxy". ?

Yes I agree the blue stars are a super contrast to the galaxy. I m surprised about how Brown it looks. No Yellow at all?

I thought so too first. But a bit of googling turned up more detailed images that show dark areas, Ha regions and yellow star regions. This could very well explain the overall brown look in a less detailed image.

Thanks Mick :)

Tom - You can see some yellow stars on the right side and above the Galaxy.

John - No of course I didn't took all this hardware with me :) ...I rent it locally. I was quit easy for me to operate it since I also have ASA mount at home.
