I captured a blue Jupiter :(

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

So I was up the whole night last night enjoying the sight of Jupiter's GRS and capturing it with my Omni XLT102 (f/9.8) and ASI224MC camera.

I ended my session with the laptop going off due to battery. and today I came to process those stuff after work and I found this after stacking one of the videos:

Used SharpCap to do the video capture and I assume it was live stacking the frames...

Exposure was 90ms, and gain was 0, I had no barlow to the camera, only 2 filters, UV/IR cut, and FK..

I'm not sure why this happened and I'm sure I had my color balance right...

I checked the histogram.csv file and if I got it right, the RGB stuff were looking normal but I'm not sure what caused that and if I can fix this.. ??

Here are the raw files:

Hope someone can give any advice or help on what happened and how to fix the colors?

Thanks a lot!
