Which Messier objects are not seen from the UK please??

They're all visible from the UK, at least from the south coast ...

I'm not visiting the South coast as far as I know but obviously some are not visible from Nottinghamshire?

M4, M6, M7, M54, M55, M62, M68, M69, M70, M79. M83, and M93

Those are the ones I'm missing from Nottingham.

It is worth taking some binoculars on holiday if you are heading south. Quite a lot of the more southern ones are quite bright (except M83 & 79 which can be right xxxxs). I bagged my final M with a pair of 10x50 bins.

You’ll get hooked on getting the last couple and be driving south before you know it! ?

The Messier list is a great place to start. It’s got a bit of exerything.

Thanks Paul, I'm off to Southern France in the Summer so the bins will be going too! (I'm also a birdwatcher!)
