Ronclarke
I'm not visiting the South coast as far as I know but obviously some are not visible from Nottinghamshire?

Paul73
It is worth taking some binoculars on holiday if you are heading south. Quite a lot of the more southern ones are quite bright (except M83 & 79 which can be right xxxxs). I bagged my final M with a pair of 10x50 bins. You’ll get hooked on getting the last couple and be driving south before you know it! ? The Messier list is a great place to start. It’s got a bit of exerything. Ronclarke
Thanks Paul, I'm off to Southern France in the Summer so the bins will be going too! (I'm also a birdwatcher!) Cheers Ron
