Orion 6" Astrograph - Who sells this in the UK?

Recommended Posts

Hi,
Recently saw an Advert for this telescope in a back issue of a Sky and Telescope magazine.
It got my attention because I have been reading a lot about the  Skywatcher 130PDS recently on this forum.
The Orion f/4 Newt looks a fantastic piece of kit and seems a decent price at about $399

But... who sells this in the UK?

ORION TELESCOPES (USA) 6" f/4 ASTROGRAPH NEWTONIAN
"A photographically fast Newtonian reflector, built around a 150-mm parabolic primary mirror, made from B270 glass, that reaches thermal equilibrium quickly.
An oversize 63-mm (mirror axis) secondary provides excellent field illumination for larger DSLR or CCD cameras.  A 2-inch, dual speed focuser is designed to hold
heavy imaging accessories without slippage, with a steel reinforcing plate eliminating flexure.  Scope weight = 12.7 pounds and comes complete with tube rings,
Vixen style dovetail mounting plate and an 8 x 50 finderscope".

Also, how does this Orion scope compare with the Skywatcher 150 PDS?

Interested to hear some feedback about this Orion Newt and how good it is for imaging.
I expect  is is good, very good, but does anyone know?

Regards,
Steve
