130 pds on evolution mount

Finally, a couple of semi clear nights. Been waiting over 2 weeks to test the new scope, thanks FLO for the clouds i think you over packed them this time :)

 

Firstly, the  whirlpool. this is with the 385c, astronomik cls filter and a 0.5x reducer. 

25 frames for a total of 390 secs

and the previous night i used the 294mc pro  with an optolong uhc filter, moon and M42

sorry cannot remember settings but from memory it was around 40 frames at 8 secs each

Still allot to learn,  sharpcap settings to mess with and processing skills to master,  hopefully the weather will improve soon :)

Hi rob, i will put up a pic of the setup in my next eaa post, clear weather heading our way next week \0/    I will say though  it is rock solid and reaches zenith.  With the camera it is slightly front heavy, nowhere near as bad  as the c9.25 though :)  I did manage an hour last night, although starsense would mot align due to clouds, i did manage a few more moon shots despite the haze.

this is at native F/5 with a 385c camera, all 1000 frames and best 15% in registax
